Hello there!๐

The Store Updates
All is well – Ola Kala
There is nothing quite like the rush of having forcing building something new in a short timeframe that gets the blood moving and the brain dizzy. ๐ช
Some stress, but so far, all is well. We are actively meeting with products from the community we love to put them all into one nutritious place – Spira Farms.
Our first announcement is right now on new products. There are a ton of products that go well with Microgreen salads, among them is Olive Oil. We are working with Kiki Vale of Kefi Life to bring extra Virgin Olive Oil to the store.
Why Olive Oil?
Healthy Fats โ
Antioxidants โ
Easy pair to a Microgreen Salad โ

Olive oil is a staple of a dressing in the salads my family prepares. They not only add to the flavor of our salads, but are RICH in anti-inflammatories. One such olive, the Koroneiki Olive grown in Greece stands above the rest of the olives. The oil produced from these olives come with incredible amounts of polyphenols that help our cardiovascular and nervous systems as well as cancer. If we know these are the best, wouldnโt we want to use that in our foods? Thatโs where Kefi Life Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes in.
Kiki Vale runs the Kefi Life podcast locally in Chicago. We ran into Kiki at the Hinsdale Farmers Market, and Cait was interviewed that day on the podcast. We got to see Kikiโs incredible production value, learn from each others shared values about having a great life. Much of that great life comes from the food we eat. We think Kefi Life is a natural fit into what we have, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Like our progress in our shop we learned from Kiki the words Ola Kala – all is well.
HELP WANTED ๐ฉโ๐พ๐จโ๐พ
Do you like plants? Do you want to be cool? Spira Farms has plants, and youโd be the coolest person in the room.
Were looking to add to our team a few farm hands that can help us with planting, harvesting, and generally taking care of the farm. Today were looking for help a few days a week usually Mondays and Fridays.
With the role you get to learn all about vertical farming, plants and nutrition. If thatโs not your thing then once you know how to farm just pop on some ๐ง and enjoy the gardening.
If you know someone interested in being cool please let us know. ๐
