This means, we are now going to be delivering all product on Fridays. We will harvest and deliver the same day. This is an improve on our 24 hour harvest to delivery we previously had.

The Daily Ritual! 🍹πŸ₯¦

Every single day, I make a smoothie.

Life makes it challenging to really nail eating properly. To help with that, I just make sure I get everything I need immediately and easily. Namely for me, this means I am making sure I am getting my fruits and vegetables in for the day. 🍌🌱

Here are the ingredients to supercharging your day with nutrition:

  1. Microgreens🌱
    1. I prefer milder and choose Broccoli, Kale, Cabbage, Sunflower or Beet
    2. Use 1/2 a pack per person, you won’t even know there are vegetables in the smoothie even if you go a pack per person.
  2. Fruit πŸ“πŸŒ
    1. Love my Blackberry, Raspberry, Strawberry either frozen or fresh.
      1. Always going for the organic to avoid pesticides.
      2. Use 1 cup of any variety per person
    2. Bananas
      1. Use half or a full banana per person.
  3. Plant-Milk πŸ₯›
    1. This is an imperfect choice, but I prefer the Oat based milk if possible.
      1. Almond and Cashew are great, but the problems being created with water needs to grow them has me trying to avoid these.
    2. Use half a cup per person
  4. Greek Yogurt 🌼
    1. Love the Chobani plain yogurt ingredients
    2. Great for the probiotics
    3. I use 1.5 hefty tablespoons per person.
  5. Orgain Protein Powder πŸ’ͺ
    1. Personal favorite powder. Its available everywhere, ingredients are fantastic, and I LOVE the taste.
    2. This ingredient is super helpful as it contains stevia, a sweetener derived from a leaf. It makes our smoothies taste much sweeter, great for kids.
    3. We get nutrition from this + loaded with protein.
    4. I like to do 1.5 scoops per person. This ingredient is not necessary.

From here, it’s really easy. We literally just need to throw it all together into a blender and bam your superfood is ready to eat.

People have different preferences for texture of the smoothies. If you like a darker thicker smoothie use more blackberry and blueberries or make sure the fruit you use is frozen.

I’ve made smoothies like this for a long time, and I find that I am significantly more energized after it. To me, it is a coffee replacement but I do also drink coffee alongside it. Huge impact on:

  • Mental Health as consuming plants consistently does a fantastic job of regulating our bodies, especially our microbiome
  • Physical Health as I am significantly stronger when I am eating right. As soon as I fall off course there is immediate impact on my strength.

Smoothies were a super easy way for my family to get our nutritional needs. There are infinite ways to do this, but ultimately I just wanted to find a way to eat a few packs of microgreens while I was on the go to get what I needed for my health.
